Limiting the number of file versions will automatically select the Create independent splits option.

Do you have a backup log from Backup4all 4 for that job?
If yes, please send it to us at support[at]backup4all[dot]com

To solve the problem in Backup4all 5, please open Backup Properties->Compression and change the encryption type.

Hi,

Please download the latest version of Backup4all 5.0.336.
Run a manual test for that backup by pressing the Test (F9) button.
If the error appears again in the test, you will have to run again the backup.

Please open Backup Properties->Scheduler page and select "Show warnings and errors" option.
Press Save.

Hi,

When trying to open the catalog on another computer and you will be asked for a password. Without it, you won't be able to see the files in catalog.
On your computer, there is no joy to hide the names as that will make the restore process difficult for you.

That is correct, the "Use local catalogs" option has to be unchecked.
