Re: Wishlist: Mirror with versions of a file

Hi, Backup4all is also using the CRC in the comparison criteria. You can see that in Backup Properties->Advanced. As I can understand from your post, there is a problem with the backup. Please send us the last backup log and the backup catalog from the backup destination to support[at]backup4all[dot...

Re: IPC Server

Hi,

Almost all users reporting this problem were having the antivirus or firewall blocking bservice.exe process.
Please put this file and all the Backup4all folder into the exceptions list of the antivirus. Do you still have the problem?

Hi,

The size of the Temp folder is the free size of the drive where it is stored.

Re: Large file is being broken into several pieces

Hi,

That could be because there wasn't enough free disk space in temporary folder.

Hi,

This is what I wanted to say. In the current build, that option does not work correctly. We will fix that.

Re: USB-Drive as Dest. but B4A still creates local ZIP

Hi,

We found there is a problem with the temp folder being all the time on C: drive.
You can try to change the location of the temporary folder from File->Options->Application folders to a larger drive and also select the "Always use temporary folder" in Backup Properties->Compression.

Re: issue with mirror copy

Hi,

No, the backup catalog is also stored on C: drive. The error appears on the catalog database.
How much free disk space you have on C: drive?
