Hi,

Yes, you can do that if your FTP server supports that.
Please open Backup Properties->FTP server->Edit configuration
Set the maximum file size to a large value, for example: 999 GB.
Press Save and run the backup.

Hi,

It seems for some reason, the .bkc catalog file from the backup destination could not be loaded and a new catalog was created. The older catalog is the one without (1), you can see the modification date of the files. Only the new catalog will be used from now on. You can remove the old catalog.

Hi,

Do you have the same problem if you disable the block backup option?
Is there any error listed in Event Viewer?

In the meantime, you should be able to successfully backup those files while Outlook is closed.
