Re: Backup erronea con versiones de un mismo fichero

Hi,

Please note we don't speak Spanish.
It's a little difficult for us to understand your problem using an automatic translation.
Can you explain much clearly your problem?

Re: Approximate size of backup

Hi, I cannot agree with you. If you don't belive what I am saying, you can create a new backup job for tests and press the Calculate statistics for next backup (Ctrl+F5) button before running the first backup. You'll see that the size information is provided for this case too. The review was done fo...

Re: Shutdown options

Hi, Backup4all cannot make the difference if there was a Restart or Shutdown command. After the backup is performed, a shutdown will be executed. You can run a shutdown after backing up a group. For the last backup job in group, open the Properties->Advanced. In the "Run action after backup" section...

Re: Approximate size of backup

Hi,

What you require is a compressing simulation which is not so fast. That is not possible at this moment in Backup4all.
You can now see the size of the uncompressed source files. That should help you to estimate how many disks you'll need.

Re: Approximate size of backup

Hi, You can calculate the statistics for next backup if you go to Statistics view. That will give you the size of the sources to be backed up. We cannot give you an approximate size for the compressed backup because different file types can be compressed to a different percent. Some files can be com...

Re: Backup Open Files (VSS) trigger SQL Server 2008 Backup

Hi, We had no previous similar situations. The shadow copy is automatically initiated when the backup starts, no matter if there are or not open files. Only if you disable the "Backup open files" option, the shadow copy is not used. If the backup correctly performed and all files included if you dis...
