Re: Mirror backup - keep previous file versions

Even so, you can manually restore the files to a previous version, but only to the previous version using B...

Re: Update the cataloge

Hi,

No, you cannot do that. You cannot update the catalog based on the files you manually put in destination.
The files needs to be backed up with Backup4all to be included in backup catalog.

Hi, The backup versions are kept only for Full, Incremental and Differential backup types. Backup4all does not keep track of multiple Mirror backup versions. Only the latest execution can be restored from Backup4all. The old versions are stored in backup destination. You can adjust the limit number ...

Re: Backup view not correct

After receiving your backup catalog, we were able to see all files in Backup View. There is no problem here.
Please make sure you have the latest version of Backup4all.

Re: Backup view not correct

Hi,

We cannot reproduce the problem here.
Please send us the backup catalog (bkc file) to support[at]backup4all[dot]com.
To find it, go to View->Open Folder->Catalog Folder.
If the file is large, please put it into a zip archive.

Hi,

Do you have Backup4all 3 or Backup4all 4?

If you have Backup4all 3, please read this article:

Re: Powered Down at Scheduled Backup Time

Hi, Backup4all is using the Windows Task Scheduler 1.0, the one available in Windows XP. Moving to Windows Task Scheduler 2.0 (the one from Vista and Windows 7) would generate problems for our users with XP. At this moment, the solution for you is to manually check that option in the scheduled tasks.
