Hi,

Please go to Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services.
Make sure the Volume shadow copy service is started and set to Manual.

Hi,

Please open Backup4all, go to Backup Properties->FTP server->Edit configuration.
Check the "Use passive mode for transfers" option.
Press Save and try again to run the backup.

Hi,

The files were not removed because the backup did not ran (Backup4all didn't found any new or modified files).
The files will be removed if there is at least one file to be backed up (new or modified).

We found the problem why the crash report is sent and we will fix that.
The VSCSRV2008 file is related to backup open files feature.

Hi, The previous user did not sent us the requested files to see what the problem is. Please send us: - the .bkc catalog file for that job. You can find the .bkc file if you go to View->Open folder->Destination folder. - the .log file for the last backup job. To find it, please go to: View->Job Logs...

Hi,

1. What version of Backup4all do you use?
2. What antivirus do you use?
3. What changes have you made that affected the Volume Shadow Copy service?

Please note you can turn off the backup open files option from Properties->Advanced page, which will result in a faster backup.
