Hi,

Please go to Control Panel->Task Scheduler. Do you see the task for Backup4all to start at Windows Startup?

Hi,

You can increase the wait time and the number of retries when destination is not ready if you go to Tools->Options->Backup page.
Let us know if you still have the problem after increasing these values.

Hi,

We found there is a problem with Volume Shadow Copy for large backups. The fix will be available in the new release next week.

Hi,

That is not a bug, this is how Backup4all was designed to work. It looks in the backup catalog to decide which files will be backed up.
Please note you should never manually delete the backup files from destination.

Hi,

We do not have any plans to change from CRC32 to MD5.
MD5 is frequently used for data security.
We consider that CRC32 is very good as long as you cannot modify a file and have the same CRC.

Yes, using Backup4all, you can create backups to any of the following destinations: local hard drive, network drive, mapped network drive, removable, external USB, FTP, SFTP, CD, DVD, Blu-ray.
