Re: Program windows sizes

Hi, The Stop command is not instant. It works like this: you press Stop, then Backup4all will continue processing the current file and upload it to SFTP server. After that it will save and close the catalog, then the catalog is copied to SFTP server. If you killed the application, the backup catalog...

Re: i do not want my files zipped

Hi,

If you don't want your files to be zipped, please use the Mirror backup type.
To change the backup type to Mirror, please go to Backup Properties (Ctrl+P)->Type page.

Hi,

What is the read speed of the external hard drive?
Do you have the same problem if you create a locally backup job? (only for tests)

Hi,

There is no minimum requirement for RAM memory, but for disk space in Temp folder.
Is your destination drive formatted as NTFS or FAT32?

Hi,

Do you get any error message when setting up the scheduler in Backup4all?
Is there any user logged on when the scheduled task starts?

2. Do you use the local catalog option in Backup Properties->Advanced page?
3. How many files do you have in backup?
4. How many backup versions you keep in catalog?

Re: Remove excluded

Hi,

Please make sure you have at least one new or modified file to be backed up in order for the backup to run.
The deleted files won't be removed from destination if the backup does not run.
