Re: How to get rid of warnings for open files

Hi,

First you should see why those files cannot be backed up.
Make sure the Volume Shadow Copy service is working fine on your computer.
To find it, go to Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services.

You can filter the source files by "ntuser.dat" and "UsrClass.dat".

Re: Backup number

Hi,

The maximum value for the backup number is 2^32 which means (4,294,967,296). It won't reset to value "1"

Re: List index out of bounds (-1)

Hi,

Please send us the backup catalog for that job from View->Open Folder->Destination Folder.
Put the file into a zip archive and send it to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Re: Forcing a backup of a given file each time

Hi,

In this case, I suggest you to use the Full backup type and back up the whole file each time.

Re: Hebrew files names are unreadable

Hi,

As I understand from your response, you can restore the files with the correct file name using Backup4all.
That means the file names are fine and the problem is with the programs you use the view the files.

Re: Hebrew files names are unreadable

Hi,

Please tell us what application do you use to browse the files in destination and see the wrong file names.
Can you restore few files using Backup4all? Do they have the correct file names?

Re: Hebrew files names are unreadable

Hi,

You could also try using the WinZip tool for browsing the zip files.
