Hi,
If you got GMail working that means the problem is not with Backup4all but with the settings you use for smtp.
Please make sure you used the correct settings.
You can try using port 465 for your configuration too.

Re: FTP Backup of specific file names
Hi,
Please send us the backup catalog (bkc file) for that job to support[at]backup4all[dot]com
To find it, go to View->Open Folder->Catalog folder.
Put the file into a zip archive.

Re: FTP Backup of specific file names
Hi,
You used different accents, or is that how it is? one for lowercase and the other for uppercase?
I am not talking about accents but I am talking about the a/A character in lowercase/uppercase. That cannot be avoid.

Re: External drive out of space
Hi,
1. You cannot recreate the backup catalog from the existing files in destination.
2. To automatically delete the older backups, please go to Backup Properties->Type
There you can set the number of backup versions to be stored in destination.

Re: FTP Backup of specific file names
Hi,
You cannot avoid that. If a similar file/folder name with the same character is found before (eg: Test), all files with "test" will be backed up as "Test".

Re: External drive out of space
hi, If you use the local catalog, Backup4all won't know you changed the external hard drives. When the limit is reached, it will try to delete the oldest backup from destination and catalog too. If that backup is stored on another drive, it fails to delete it and it will removed only from catalog. T...
