Re: Backup Strategy help.

hi,

When scheduling the backup group, each backup job inside that group will be executed with its default backup type.
You can also create individual scheduled tasks for each backup job in that group and you can force another backup type to be executed.

Please read this article:

Re: Backup test never finishes

Hi,

Please send us the last backup log for both backup jobs to support[at]backup4all[dot]com
You can find those files if you select the backup job and go to View->Job Logs->Last backup log.

Do you used the same backup type?

Re: Split Files

Hi,

You cannot do that with Backup4all without backing up again those files.
You can split them manually using WinZip/WinRar but that also means you need to manually merge them back before the restore with Backup4all.

Hi,

We don't have such problems here.
Do you have this problem again or it was a one time problem?

Re: Backup test never finishes

Hi,

If you don't run the test you won't know if something is wrong.
For example, backing up on a dvd disk without test is more risky than backing up to a local hard drive.

Re: Backup errors out

Hi,

1. When you receive that error, can you copy this file?
C:\Documents and Settings\Kim1\Local Settings\Temp\Softland\Backup4all Professional 4\UPER23I8J213\101_Q.zip

2. Are you logged on with Kim1?

3. Is there any other user logged on?
