Re: Missing Files in FTP Backup

Well I checked the FTP Box (a 1TB Buffalo TeraServer with (4) 250MB drives setup with RAID). I could not find any setting. Looks like I'll have to print a listing of the differences and work with each staff person to rename the problem files. After checking it is less than 12 files or folders per st...

Remove excluded

When I initially setup a mirror job to backup 'My Documents' and selected the whole folder. Now I want to remove some folders/files from the backup. I had already selected 'Properties, Type, Mirror, Options <Remove excluded or deleted files from backup>'. The help file states when in [F2-Explorer Vi...

Daily Backup to Folder Structure

I would like to use the Mirror option backup to make folders like this:
Year
|
+-- Month
|
+-- Day

So this 2011 Feb it would look like
2011
|
+-- 02
|
+-- 01
+-- 02
+-- 03
a sub-folder for each day

All using 1 profile if possible

Missing Files in FTP Backup

I run Backup4All to backup to an FTP site to Mode = Mirror with the following options (Fast Mirror checked, Remove excluded or deleted files from backup checked). Under Advanced I have Use local catalogs checked. Because of the amount of data I can't use the Test after backup option. Plus I have Bac...

Test Indivual File -vs- Backup Session

This already be possible but I'll post this here. It would be great to be able to Test a single file -vs- having to Test a Backup Session.

Thanks

FTP Mode - Catalog Location

I was just wondering ... after reading messages here. As a general rule is it better to store the Catalog on the remote FTP site or stored locally?

Re: Application Log File Format

After deleting the file and letting the Backup4all make it from scratch it appear OK. :D I did look at the file with EditPad Pro. When I switched it to Hex Mode I noticed the spaces were really 00h not 20h. I told EditPad Pro to search for 00h and replace it with 20h. Then switched back to text mode...

Re: Application Log File Format

I have v4.4 Build 214

The problem does NOT appear to effect the individual backup reports. This is only happening for the "Backup4all.log" file (View, View Application Log).

I'm going to delete the file and let the program make a fresh version.
