Re: Log files won't open
Further Update
I have two running versions of Windows 7, 32 bit and 64 bit.
I installed version 4.6.254 on Windows 7-32bit and all the log files etc open properly.
Could this therefore be a 64bit issue ?

Hi, I went to look at a job log and found it would not open. I tried right clicking on the backup task and opening from the main menu but nothing happens. If I go to "View", "Job Logs", "Open Log Folder" the folder opens and all my log files are there and all open no problem. I checked the Log Viewe...

Backup folder renamed with (1) on the end
Hi I created a backup of "My Documents" folder on an external drive and all worked fine. I then decided to create a copy backup using the "Create Like" command because I wanted to try some changes without deleting the original backup. After deciding that the copy backup was the one I wanted, I delet...

Re: Pressing STOP or CANCEL causes lock-up
I have several backup jobs to both external and internal hard drives and it doesn't matter which job is running when I press STOP or CANCEL. I have left the program longer than an hour one day but eventually had to close it with Task manager.

Pressing STOP or CANCEL causes lock-up
I have the latest Standard addition and everything works fine except when I press STOP or CANCEL once a backup has started the program totally locks up. I then have to close the program through Windows Task Manager. I restart the program and everything works normally as long as I don't press STOP or...

Update the cataloge
I have manually copied some files from a CD-ROM into my Backup4all folder, is there a way to update the program catalogue so they are recognised by Backup4all.
