Re: incremental job does not backup changed file
I believe the problem is that I haven't defined the job properly.

Re: add file extension filter to existing job
You're just saying that it should be obvious to me that Customize won't do what I want and I'm just saying No, it's not obvious to me. End of story. Working as designed.

Re: incremental job does not backup changed file
Before I send those files.. I have a hunch that the file was indeed restored but I'm just looking for it in the wrong place. I'm attaching a screenshot of the file tree structure, starting with the folder that I specified to the restore wizard: M:\bkup4all\restore pl-xl-doc 7-5-2017. The wizard aske...

Re: add file extension filter to existing job
Yes, i figured that out eventually. In my opinion, this exemplifies a general shortcoming of the UI. If I want to do something with filters and I see button labelled Customize under Filters, it make 100% sense to me that it would take me to a dialog or screen where I can add or modify extensions. Bu...

incremental job does not backup changed file
Job is defined as incremental with limit of 3 file versions. After 3 or more runs of the job, and the file has changed 3 times or more during that period,I should always find that the latest 3 versions have been backed up, right? But I've noticed that it does not backup a file that should be backed ...

add file extension filter to existing job
I created a new job and failed to set up filters for file extensions. I navigate to Sources>Filters>customize but I don't see where to add the file extensions.

I now realize that the screenshot I showed was BEFORE clicking on Type. It is exactly as you say once I click Type. Thanks for you patience and for answering my question.

Ah, I see. You must mean the Type section within Properties. That's the screen that I showed in the screenshot with my original post. It shows options to limit based on % and on size but not on the number of increments. Is that not an option?

Re: change existing job to limit number of increments
I click type and it just changes the sequence in which the jobs are displayed. I don't see any option to change increments.

change existing job to limit number of increments
I have an existing incremental job that I want to limit the number of increments that are kept. I don't find any place to do that. Other topic I see here refer to a save storage option. Where do I find that?[attachment=0]backup4all incremental job properties.
