Re: Network speed limit to 200 Mbits/s for backup ?
The speed is fixed in v8.9 - now it's roughly the same as when using other software.

Re: ERROR_NOT_ALL_ASSIGNED when using "Shutdown computer when finished"
Using "shutdown.exe /s /f" the result is that nothing happens and the last log line is: [15.11.2020 22:22:50] Run program/action "shutdown.exe /s /f" If I run "shutdown.exe /s /f" from a command line (my account - standard user), I get a Windows dialog "You will be logged out in a moment. Windows wi...

Re: ERROR_NOT_ALL_ASSIGNED when using "Shutdown computer when finished"
I can try and it can work, but it doesn't solve the problem with not functioning "Shutdown computer when finished" option at all.

Re: ERROR_NOT_ALL_ASSIGNED when using "Shutdown computer when finished"
When I placed the command in a job's properties, I got logged off after backup (but computer did not shut down).
The last entry in the job log is:
[02.11.2020 20:05:41] Run program/action "shutdown.exe /f"

Re: Network speed limit to 200 Mbits/s for backup ?
Unfortunately just the buffer size is not the cause for the issue. I got a test version from support and tried values ranging from 32 kB to 128 MB. The most I could get was about 230 Mb/s. I also tried to use a third-party file manager in addition to Windows Explorer, and it reached the same speed a...

Re: ERROR_NOT_ALL_ASSIGNED when using "Shutdown computer when finished"
I use Windows Defender - do you mean to exclude B4a processes or files from scanning, or something else?

ERROR_NOT_ALL_ASSIGNED when using "Shutdown computer when finished"
Hello, B4a 8.8b335 I checked "Shutdown computer when finished" checkbox when running backup in GUI. It ended with: [27.10.2020 00:52:04] Run program/action "<Shut down>" [27.10.2020 00:52:25] Could not find running instances of bShutdownSched.exe or bShutdown.exe in order to process "saPowerOff" not...

Re: Network speed limit to 200 Mbits/s for backup ?
So eventually I investigated the problem (as it appears B4a is NOT tested with such exotic servers as Samba - so buyers beware) and so far discovered, that it uses varying send buffer size 1 or 4 MB, with Windows default being 512 kB - improper buffer size is often reason for such problems. I've req...

Re: Smart backup appears to be not smart at all
Have you ever completed the first full backup? Can you tell (from files names being processed) if B4a just wants to complete the first full backup, or just starts all over?
