What is recommned values for split files size and or count of we have to backup approx 10-15 GB of data using ftp backup?
how will this effect restore operations?

ftp backup sets and nbt backup

Hi

I would like to know if anyone is alreday doing this using backup4all?
We would like to bcakup data onto a shared folder on other server using backup network interface on;y, we dont want backup4all to initiate backups using public netwrk interface. the server is behind h/w firewall currently.

thanks, however i would like to know if this software can be installed onto filecluster and how to set it up? so as we can backup dat from san drives. In addition I would like know, when I chosoe to limit the number of backup counts(using destination backup as FTP), which backup4all log file has entries on updates about deleting old backup sets.
While testing i found that old backup set was deleted but i couldnt locate entries in log file.
