Creating block list for mirror backup

Post by Mart »

Hi,

I've initiated a mirror backup for a large number of media files (about 700GB, max file size about 4.7GB).

The job is showing as "0% Creating Block list" - and has been like that now for over 10 hours.

But when setting it up, Block Level backup was greyed out as not available, because it's a mirror backup. I therefore don't understand why a block list is being created.

As it's been running so long, I'm reluctant to cancel it and risk starting again from scratch. But it seems strange:
a) that it's taking so long
b) that a block list is being created for a mirror back up.

Can anyone advise if this seems right, or if something's wrong and I should cancel and start again?

(Thanks in advance.)

Hi,

Please send us to support[at]backup4all[dot]com:
- the last backup log (right click on backup job and go to Job Logs->Last backup log)
- a screenshot with the Backup4all window (to see the "creating block list" status)

Same situation here --
"0% - creating block list" for over 90 minutes for a 200GB chuck of data...
was there any follow up or resolution to this issue?
