Warning notification - wishlist

Post by dwilbourn »

Maybe I am just being dumb, but when there is an error or warning during a backup process, I can't find a way to see what that error/warning was about. The only way I have found to see it is to open the Log file. It seems to me that an event such as this during a backup should be made obvious to the user.

Hi,

If there is an error during the backup, the execution will stop, and will be displayed a box asking if you want to see the log file.
If there are warnings during the backup, the execution will continue and the box asking you to see the log file will be shown after the backup is finished.

If the box after the backup is now shown, please go to Tools menu->Options->Backup and check the "Show warnings at the end of the backup" option.
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
