Delete Group option in Menu Bar
When clicking File > Delete Group, the program deletes the Group that is visible in the left pane at that time. This is not an action I would typically associate with the File drop-down list in a Menu Bar. Anyone doing this inadvertently would therefore lose the entire group's settings, should that group not be the one you want to delete. (Unless, of course, you've backed up your settings; but, even then, it's a bit of work to restore them.)
So, for when you click on File > Delete Group, I suggest implementing either:
a confirmation dialogue , or
a menu list from which to choose which group(s) you want to delete, or
change this to a right-click context option in the existing drop-down list in the left-hand pane.
Thanks.
By the way, what's with the ellipsis after many (but not all) Menu Bar items?? I feel it's unnecessarily 'noisy'. (In editorial terms, an ellipsis means something quite different from what you might have been intending.)

Re: Delete Group option in Menu Bar
Hi,
1. We will change the group behavior in the next version of Backup4all.
2. Can you send me a screenshot to see the ellipsis you are talking about?

Re: Delete Group option in Menu Bar
Bună,
1. Glad you will change the behaviour!
2. In case you are not certain what an ellipsis is, it is 3 fullstops (periods) in a row (...). It's usual use in print is to indicate when you are omitting text (usually from a quotation). Attached is a screenshot of only the File menu. You currently have an ellipsis after the first 2 items, not on the next 2; then after the next 3, but not after the next one, etc. And this goes through the all items in the Menu Bar. The ellipsis is meaningless in this situation and is also untidy.
Oh dear! I get an error message:
Could not upload attachment to ./files/4704_427a263ff1a0e086f09c6637c1139260.
It is a 31KB JPG. Anyway, you don't need the screenshot. It looks like this:
New Backup...
Open Backup...
Create Like
Delete Backup
Properties...
New Group...
Rename Group...
Delete Group
Import from Version 2...
Import from Version 3...
Import from Version 4...
Exit

Hi,
Here they means there will be a new dialog box after you select that option.

Re: Delete Group option in Menu Bar
Aha! OK, now that I've noticed it, I see this usage in other applications. Strange that I haven't noticed it before. Somehow it seemed to stick out more in your app.
