vscSrv2008.exe crashes

Postby Ron » Tue Jan 25, 2011 6:09 pm

Hi There,
Today I've downloaded a Trial Backup4all Professional Version 4.5 Build 236.
I've read that this is the latest build AND that there have been more post regarding this error / warning.(June 2010).
However I've posted this as a NEW post because I think that, in some cases, the error / warning still persists. I'm running on a Vista 32 PC.
Every time I start the back-up function the error / warnig occurs.
So, do you think you can solve this issue within the trial period?

Thanks in advance
Ron

Hi,

Please go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services.
Make sure the Volume Shadow Copy is started and running properly.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply however......

I don't see what you mean.
What I see is: Toolbar File View Action Tools Help
If I click Tools then I can Choose from Scheduler, Erase CD/...., Plugins, Getting Started and Options
If I choose one of these I don't see Services

So where to search?

Hi,

I just told you. Please press the Windows Start button from the left side down.
After that, go to Control Panel.
There you need to open the Administrative Tools and select Services.
Find the Volume Shadow Copy service and make sure it is started and running properly.
