out of memory

out of memory

We have the latest version of backup4all installed on a server with OS windows server 2003.

Every time we try to backup files with 256GB to an external drive we get the error message "out of memory" always near 70% of the total backup.

Can you help us?

Hi,

Please open Backup Properties->Advanced.
Uncheck the "Store temporary catalog data in memory" option.
Press Save and run again the backup.
Do you still have the problem?

I have the same problem.
"Store temporary catalog data in memory" option is off.

What should I do?

Hi,

Do you have the latest version of Backup4all 4.6.263?
If yes, please send us the last backup log from View->Job Logs->Last backup log, to support[at]backup4all[dot]com
