Hi,

You can run the Portable edition of Backup4all only from an administrator account.

If you want to use it from a limited account type, please use Backup4all Portable edition for U3.

Hi,

You need to use an administrator account to be able to back up open files.
If you don't use such account, the open files will be skipped.

If you want to disable the option to "backup open files", please open Backup Properties->Advanced.

Hi,

As we can see from the log file, the problem appeared when trying to back up an SQL server.

Hi, Please send us the last backup log to our support email at support[at]backup4all[dot]com You can find the log in Backup4all if you go to View->Job Logs->Last backup log. We'll try to fix the problem as soon as possible. We keep on our website only the latest release from each version of Backup4a...

Hi,

In Event Viewer you can see only the scheduler activities.
The other logs can be found in Backup4all if you go to View->Job Logs.

There is such an option.
To find it, open Backup4all, go to Tools->Options->Backup.
Uncheck the "Show file warnings" option.
Press OK.
