No jobs scheduled warning

Post by dwilbourn »

I have just found out that although I have Backup jobs in Backup4All, none of them are scheduled anymore. They were scheduled for weekly or daily operation but it seems that all those schedule events disappeared at the end of April, no backups have actually been done since then.

I would like to suggest that you add a check to Backup4all that checks to see if backup jobs that are scheduled actually have a scheduler event associated with them. Then give a warning at startup if none of the jobs are scheduled anymore.

Hi,

A job is scheduled if it has a scheduled task associated/created for it.
If there is no scheduled task (it could be manually deleted from Control Panel) the job appears as not scheduled. There could be the user choice to delete those tasks.
